Alberghetti's Walkoff Gives 10A Spartans Victory Over Bloomington Bandits

10A Spartans took Saturday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 7-6 walk-off victory over Bloomington Bandits. The game was tied at six with 10A Spartans batting in the bottom of the sixth when Joe A tripled, driving in one run.

A five-run lead in the third inning was just enough for 10A Spartans to hold off Bloomington Bandits for the victory. Bloomington Bandits scored four runs in the failed comeback on a walk by #12 in the fourth, a stolen base in the fourth, a single by #8 in the fourth, and a groundout by #12 in the sixth.

Bloomington Bandits captured the lead in the first inning. #11 drove in one when he singled in the first inning.

10A Spartans scored six runs in the third inning. 10A Spartans scored on a walk by Alex A, a triple by Ryan K, a single by Joe A, and a triple by Tim P.

Bloomington Bandits scored four runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for Bloomington Bandits came thanks to a walk by #12, a stolen base , and a single by #8.

10A Spartans collected six hits. Joe and Ryan each collected multiple hits for 10A Spartans. Ryan and Joe all had two hits to lead 10A Spartans.

Bloomington Bandits had seven hits in the game. #11 and #34 each collected multiple hits for Bloomington Bandits.
