2019 IGHBA Winter Clinic

IGHBA is proud to partner with Simley High School baseball and IGH Parks & Rec to announce the 2018 Winter Baseball Clinic which will be held at IGH Middle School on Dec. 27th & 28th. This clinic will feature new Simley Head Coach Zach Hendrikson and his staff and players demonstrating proper hitting, fielding, and throwing techniques to help your player improve their skills. This is a great time to get started to improve and get ready for the 2019 traveling evaluations being held on Feb. 24th.

The clinic will consist of two different sessions divided according to age. The first daily session will consist of 6-10 year olds and will be conducted from 8:00 am – 9:00 am each day. The second session will consist of 11+ year olds and will be conducted from 9:30 am – 1:00 pm each day. All players are encouraged to bring their own water bottle to their respective session. Second session participants are also encouraged to bring a small bag lunch/snack, as there will be a 30 minute break from 11:00 am – 11:30 am each day.

6-10 year olds - $15/player
11+ year olds - $25/player

Fee includes clinic instruction and each player will be given a FREE Spartan baseball performance t-shirt.

All proceeds for this clinic will go towards helping Simley High School baseball and IGHBA.

Online pre-registration for this clinic is required. FREE t-shirts will be guaranteed to all participants registering prior to Dec 17th. Any participants registered after Dec 17th will receive the FREE t-shirt as long as supplies last.

IGHBA to Participate In 2018 IGH Days Parade

All 2018 players & coaches invited to join

Update: 9/4/18
We have been designated spot #21 for the parade on Saturday. Shawn Buck will be at the staging location at around 8:30 am that morning. Prep begins at approximately 9:00-9:30 am with the parade to start moving at 11 am. All IGHBA participants need to be at the staging area no later than 10:30 am. We need some participants to arrive at 9:00-9:30 am to help with preparation. Please contact Mr. Buck at the phone number or email info below for more details on assisting with preparations.

Update 9/1/18:
We do not know our parade spot # yet but staging for the parage will occur the morning of Sept. 8th on Cahill in front of IGH Middle School and in the  IGH Middle School parking lot. Staging will go in number order.


IGHBA has secured a spot in the 2018 IGH Days parade taking place at 11 am on Sept. 8th, 2018. All 2018 players & coaches are invited to walk. We will be joined by Simley High School players and coaches as well.

More details to come as far as where to meet and when. We ask all participating players and coaches where the white jerseys for the parade.

We strongly encourage ALL players & coaches to attend and walk with us to show your IGH baseball pride and support. This is a great time to help promote our organization and entice more players for the 2019 season.

2018 IGHBA End of Season Potluck Picnic

The IGHBA will be holding their end-of-year picnic celebration on August 19th, 2018 at South Valley Park in Inver Grove Heights from 5 pm - 7 pm. All parents, players, fans, and families are invited to attend.

This event will be a potluck and we are asking all that attend to RSVP at the link provided below and select which option (main, side dish, dessert) they would like to contribute.  Paper products, water, lemonade, and water will be provided.

During the event, we will recap the 2018 season and provide a few small details for 2019. Any players that have not turned in their evaluations for this season can do so at the picnic.

Please feel free to bring yard games (bean bags, ladder ball, etc.) for some friendly competition.
