10A Spartans Falls In Back-And-Forth Affair Against Lakeville

Even though 10A Spartans and Lakeville both had their opportunities, it was Lakeville that eventually prevailed 14-12 on Monday. The game was tied at 12 with Lakeville batting in the bottom of the fifth when 9th singled off of Joe A, driving in two runs.

Ryan K collected four hits in defeat. Ryan singled in the first, doubled in the second, singled in the fourth, and doubled in the fifth.

10A Spartans captured the lead in the first inning. Tim P grounded out, scoring one run.

10A Spartans scored five runs in the second inning. 10A Spartans scored on a double by Ryan , a single by Joe A, and a triple by Tim.

10A Spartans collected 12 hits. Ryan , Joe, Alex A, and Zach each collected multiple hits for 10A Spartans. 10A Spartans didn't commit a single error in the field. Alex had the most chances in the field with six. 10A Spartans tore up the base paths, as five players stole at least two bases. Joe led the way with five.

Lakeville had 14 hits in the game. 5th, #24, 7th, 2 Hole, and Lead Off each collected multiple hits for Lakeville.

NorthField Captures Lead Early To Defeat 10A Spartans

10A Spartans fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 13-3 loss to NorthField on Saturday. NorthField scored on a double by #34, a single by #9, and a stolen base in the first inning.

10A Spartans captured the lead in the first inning. Tim P singled on a 1-2 count in the first inning, scoring one run.

NorthField took the lead for good with four runs in the first inning. In the first #34 doubled off of Ryan K, driving in one run, #9 singled off of Ryan , driving in two runs, and a runner stole home.

NorthField scored five runs in the second inning. The big inning for NorthField came thanks to a single by #33, a triple by #34, and a single by #5.

10A Spartans collected seven hits. Ryan and Tim each collected multiple hits for 10A Spartans. Tim, Ryan , and Joe A each drove in one run to lead 10A Spartans.

NorthField had 15 hits in the game. #34, #9, #22, #5, and #3 each collected multiple hits for NorthField. #34 went 3-for-3 at the plate as he led the team with five runs batted in.
