13AA Spartans Can't Quite Erase 5-Run Deficit In Loss To Jordan

13AA Spartans's effort to come back from down five runs in the sixth inning came up just short, as they fell 11-9 to Jordan on Thursday. 13AA Spartans scored three runs in the failed comeback on a single by Anthony Madigan and a single by Justin Roitman.

Both teams exchanged the lead back-and-forth in the game, but Jordan eventually took the lead for good thanks to a double in the sixth inning

Jordan captured the lead in the first inning. Jordan scored one run when 1st Base Player doubled with two outs in the first inning.

13AA Spartans collected 14 hits. Evan Kohout, Justin Roitman, Casey Seidl, Anthony Madigan, and Maximus Krebs each collected multiple hits for 13AA Spartans. Roitman went 2-for-3 at the plate as he led the team with three runs batted in.

Jordan had nine hits in the game. Pitcher Player, 2nd Base Player, and Shortstop Player each collected multiple hits for Jordan.
