13A Spartans Jumps Out To Early Lead In Victory Over Eagan

13A Spartans grabbed an early lead on its way to a 12-2 victory over Eagan on Monday. 13A Spartans scored on a groundout by Kainen Nelson, a single , a stolen base , a single by Connor Mangan, a single by Cody Davidson, and a stolen base in the first inning.

13A Spartans captured the lead in the first inning. Kainen Nelson grounded out, scoring one run.

13A Spartans collected 12 hits. Brenden Lysne, Aaren Schmotter, and Cody Davidson each collected multiple hits for 13A Spartans. Lysne went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead 13A Spartans in hits. Lysne led 13A Spartans with five stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 20 stolen bases.

Eagan had four hits in the game. #1 and #10 each collected multiple hits for Eagan. Eagan tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. #1 led the way with two. Eagan didn't commit a single error in the field. #9 had the most chances in the field with one.
