10A Spartans defeated Miesville Lions 15-14 in a back-and-forth affair on Wednesday. 10A Spartans was down 14-13 in the top of the fifth inning when Tim P singled off of Pitcher P, driving in one run.

A four-run lead in the fourth inning was just enough for 10A Spartans to hold off Miesville Lions for the victory. Miesville Lions scored six runs in the failed comeback on a double by Designated Hitter P, a error, and a triple.

10A Spartans took an early lead in the first inning. Tim P drove in a run when he walked with the bases loaded.

10A Spartans scored eight runs in the fourth inning. 10A Spartans scored on a single by Jared D, a single by Zachary S, a single by Joe A, a stolen base , a fielder's choice by Jared, and a single by Zachary.

Miesville Lions scored eight runs in the third inning. Miesville Lions's big inning was driven by a walk , a stolen base , a single by Designated Hitter, a stolen base , and a stolen base.

Tim earned the win for 10A Spartans. He went two innings, giving up zero runs, zero hits, and striking out three. Two relievers helped 10A Spartans close out the victory. Joe threw one inning. Joe recorded the last three outs to earn the save for 10A Spartans.
