13AA Spartans fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 8-6 loss to Rosemount Irish on Saturday. Rosemount Irish scored on a double , a single by Shortstop Player, and a single by 2nd Base Player in the first inning.

Despite the loss, 13AA Spartans did collect 12 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Rosemount Irish had 17 hits on the way to victory.

Rosemount Irish captured the lead in the first inning. 1st Base Player doubled on a 1-0 count in the first inning, scoring one run.

Maxx Grovum, Brent Holzem, and Noah Schultz each collected multiple hits for 13AA Spartans. Anthony Madigan, Evan Kohout, Schultz, Holzem, and Justin Roitman each drove in one run to lead 13AA Spartans.

Infield Player, Player, Shortstop Player, Center Field Player, and Pitcher Player each collected multiple hits for Rosemount Irish. Rosemount Irish stole seven bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Player led the way with two.
