13AA Spartans defeated Lakeville South 10-9 in a back-and-forth affair on Saturday. 13AA Spartans was down 9-8 in the top of the seventh inning when Brent Holzem doubled off of #23, driving in two runs.

Casey Seidl collected four hits in four at bats to help lead 13AA Spartans to victory. Seidl singled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the fifth, and singled in the seventh.

Lakeville South took an early lead in the second inning. Lakeville South scored one run when #25 singled with zero outs in the second inning.

13AA Spartans evened things up at six in the top of the sixth inning. A sacrifice bunt by Maximus Krebs scored one run for 13AA Spartans.

13AA Spartans had 13 hits in the game. Seidl, Maxx Grovum, Brent Holzem, and Anthony Madigan each collected multiple hits for 13AA Spartans. Madigan, Holzem, and Grovum each drove in two runs to lead 13AA Spartans. 13AA Spartans tore up the base paths, as five players stole at least two bases. Seidl led the way with three.

Lakeville South collected 11 hits. #25 and #8 each collected multiple hits for Lakeville South. Lakeville South was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. #23 had the most chances in the field with six.
