IGHBA is proud to announce that our 2017 baseball evaluations will take place on Feb. 25th, 2017 at Walker Fieldhouse on the campus of Hamline University in St. Paul, MN.

NEW this year, the Hamline University baseball staff and players will conduct a 1 hour clinic with each age group prior to the players going through their evaluations. The clinic will consist of getting the players familiar with the drills used for the evaluations along with getting the players warmed up and working with the players to get them as prepared as possible for each evaluation drill. At the conclusion of the clinic, the players will then proceed to go through the evaluation process and be graded by the Hamline baseball staff and players.

Each player is required to attend the entire scheduled time of their age group to ensure proper team placement. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of your age group in order to allow time for check-in with IGHBA staff.

Scheduled age group times are as follows:
8-10 year olds: 8:00 am - 10:30 am
11-12 year olds: 10:45 am - 1:15 pm
13-15 year olds: 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm
Make ups (all ages): 4:15 pm - 6:45 pm

Age groups are determined by what division the player will play in for the 2017 season. It is strongly encouraged to make every effort for the player to attend the evaluations with their proper age group. If the player is unable to attend their scheduled time, they may attend the last session of the day at 4:15 pm to go through the evaluation. If the player is unable to attend on Feb. 25th, we will be having another make-up session the following week. That day and time will be announced at a later time.
